Except I won't pass laws to force you to live as I do.  I won't legislate my faith.  I won't make you kneel five times a day while facing Hollyweird.  I won't force political correctness upon you in the name of "fairness".  I won't say wrong is right nor right is wrong.  Not to salve my own pathetic penchant for whatever it is I'm hiding nor another's.  I won't say a crime is more deserving of punishment because of the color, sexual orientation or what have you of the victim.  There's more but I am certain you get the idea.

You're post is well-written and from the heart, but as a European I find most American political debates way too polarized. They sound like 'they' do everything(!) wrong in an exaggerated (sometimes childish)  way without strong arguments. Over here most countries have multiple political parties (more than 10 in my county), which results in less mud throwing. I'm glad that I have more freedom of choice.
