Agreed, and even 25 is pushing it. We haven't even measured a verified 20-footer yet.

The accepted biggest specimens ever caught are around 20-21 ft, some say 23 ft. Aside from that there is other suggestive evidence such as observation of huge individuals by experienced shark experts during studies which they put at 20+ feet, and i believe there is bite radius evidence from various incidents which suggest a great white over 20ft.

25 may be pushing it but its possible there is one out there; they know they can reach 20+ feet and the chances that man has caught and studied the largest specimens in the world is not very likely

My cousin John Rife, who later worked with Jacques Cousteau, and who's younger brother own Rife Spearguns,  was doing shark cage testing in deep water north of Tanzania when there was such a jerk on the chain that it turned the boat. They lost audio with the man in the cage and stated to winch it up. No cage. They guessed a 25 footer.
