Congrats to Kongo for going to an easier fighting league where he can get some wins under his belt. It must feel good for both of you. Congrats again!

Lots of fighters from the UFC are sick of Dana's bullshit and are slowly migrating over to bellator.

Really? I thought it was because they got released or just couldn't hang with the level of the UFC.

UFC still seems to be the place everyone aspires to.

Whatever. I don't make my living training only fighters. I train 2 at the moment and can't wait until the fights over so I don't have to deal until the next one. As it stands now I don't have time for fighters. That being said, I don't take these comments personally.

That's awesome that you do that and I'm sure everyone here has respect for you in that regard. I was simply referring to the fact that when UFC fighters are kicked out of UFC, ALL of them instantly tell how happy they are in the new organization and how they really didn't even want to fight for UFC. Really??  ::)

I know for a FACT that Kongo walked away from the UFC and wasn't "kicked out". I knew this three + months before it happened.

Did he leave because of "Dana" bullshit" of that he simply was not competitive in the UFC and took or looked for another venue because he
knew he was on his way out? I'm sure Frank Mir would move to Bellator if offered a nice pay check because right now he is one of those
fighters Dana keeps around as a gate keeper. Just a body with legit skills but not world class anymore to put in front of some up and comers to see if they have the metal to be in the big league.

You can spin it anyway you want it but UFC did not want him anymore. As a name fighter he was earning too much and as somewhat one dimensional fighter his fights were boring and was on his way down. So, UFC did not present him with another contract, and possibly told him that. So, if he started looking somewhere else 3 months before - you're technically right. But the fact remains that UFC did not want him anymore. Old expensive fighter with zero potential to ever become a champ. A gate keeper at best, if that. Glad to see he's getting wins in Bellator against weaker competition.
