His real motives are clear.. what did the EU do? cut Armed forces down. The UK with an Idiot Prime Minister and even Merkel is doing it in Germany. What fools they are.

The more countries that seek an economic alliance with China and Russia the fewer countries willing to invest in the US dollar. The value of the dollar drops and is abandoned as the primary trading currency. This might be the long term goal of a Eurasian alliance. It also diminishes the US's economic authority and reach. Sanctions are killing Russia and removing the US's ability to sanction will decrease their ability to control foreign economies I'm only speculating.

Do you really believe Merkel had him in a headlock, or are you being sarcastic?

Europe cannot impart any real effect on the Russian political elite. They few at the top are economically isolated, with a vast wealth. The typical russian peasant has a crap quality of life, perhaps it can get worse with sanctions but its not going to make a massive difference to a low quality of life in the first place.

Yeah I saw all that stuff, how does that affect him and his other cronies?

Did he go home crying about it, no, he probably went home and thought about the 4 megayachts, 58 aircraft and 20 homes he owns and how he can best use them on his next holiday.

The crap thats written about him in the news means nothing at the end of the day. Most politicians are not in it for the love and glory of building and developing their country and people. They are in it for money and wealth.

Wake up and move on.
