10 Percent of ISIS Fighters Reportedly Turkish

ANKARA—The extremist Islamist group Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS), a splinter group of al-Qaeda which Turkey has supported against the Bashar al-Assad regime during the Syrian civil war, has ironically turned into a threat for Turkey, and now commands a significant percentage of fighters who are Turks, according to the German daily Die Welt, as reported in the Turkish press.

Die Welt reported on Tuesday that it is “completely ironic” that ISIS has become a threat to Turkey now, reminding that Turkey has been accused of directly or indirectly supporting ISIS for some time against the al-Assad regime.

It is estimated that ISIS has about 10,000-15,000 militants in the region. Die Welt claims that 10 percent of them are Turks.

Ummi Abdullah, originally from Kyrgyzstan, reached the Islamic State group only last month, and her disappearance became front-page news in Turkey after her ex-husband, a 44-year-old car salesman named Sahin Aktan, went to the press.

Legions of others in Turkey have carted away family to the Islamic State under less public scrutiny and in greater numbers. Earlier this month, more than 50 families slipped across the border to live under the Islamic State, according to opposition legislator Atilla Kart.

Most moderate Muslim countries are shifting, look at places like Morocco, Algeria, Tunis and Egypt as an example...the latter had to fight hard to reign in Islamists rule of the Brotherhood.

The situation is changing fast and in 10 years time the non-moderate and more hard liners will be a significant number if not the majority.

Something that is very telling - Why do the majority of 'moderates' not speak out against the minority of extremists, if it is so far from 'true muslim ideals'.

Because the majority of the majority support the fuckers, each and every way, believe the same stuff but let the 5% do all the hard work.
