You got that right. See my previous post for two solid reasons why we should be.

You don't have to convince me.  I knew he was an unqualified, racist,  quasi-communist piece of shit before he was elected in 2008.

I just don't know why the people that elected him are surprised or mad about now all of a sudden.  He is who he said he was.

Another fucking Lib idiot that doesn't know the difference between debt and deficit.

They spout the same bullshit to try to defend Obama. Next time try to understand what you're cutting and pasting. Same bullshit Dick Durbin made himself look like a fool over (again).

Anything to protect the complete and utter incompetence of your savior Obama.
Moron,

You said something about balancing the budget and that is precisely what this article addresses.

Bullshit.......Obama apologists with no freaking clue.

Obama to George Stephanopoulos:

In an exclusive interview with ABC News, President Obama rejected calls to balance the federal budget in the next ten years and instead argued that his primary economic concern was not balancing the budget, but rather growing the economy.

“My goal is not to chase a balanced budget. My goal is how do we grow the economy, put people back to work, and if we do that we are going to be bringing in more revenue,” he said.

Obama rejected a proposal put forth by Rep. Paul Ryan that would balance the budget in ten years.

“We’re not gonna balance the budget in ten years because if you look at what Paul Ryan does to balance the budget, it means that you have to slash deeply into programs, you’ve essentially got to either tax families a lot higher than you currently are, or you can’t lower rates the way he’s promised,” the president told me.

“If we controlled spending and we have a smart entitlement package, then potentially what you have is balance".

Im no economist, but spending more to reduce debt seems counter intuitive.

And yes, i understand growing the economy through spending, and i have a vague grasp of keynesian econ, but it seems to me theres never been a successful example where Keynesian economics have worked, except for post WWII....

And everytime it fails, someone like Krugman starts screaming how its not that the idea failed, its that everyone else failed. I feel its one of thise ideas that sounds great in a classroom, and worked in ONE particular set of circumstances, but fails miserably when actually put in real world situations...

Seems like they just refuse to accept that it doesnt work out the same way in reality that it does in classroom theory.

Spending is a nice way of saying they'll be paying money to companies that got him into office so they'll make max profit.

Spending more to reduce debt doesn't work for you or I.....but we're not the government, with the IRS as our collection agency.

Focus on the part where in his trillions of drunken sailor spending he makes sure the entitlement packages continue to remain or likely increase.

Now ask yourself......what did the Stimulus packages really do?
