What happens: blind people on hallucinogenic drugs?
« on: November 14, 2014, 05:39:59 AM »
This is a question I have often times pondered, what do you think?
It's Friday, and somewhere in the world someone who is blind will probably try a hallucinogenic drug tonight.

Perceived delusions... in their own mind?

Like a dream while still awake

Talking of dreams, I had the worst nightmare of my entire life last night (and I've had some very horrible ones) I still feel very uneasy about what happened almost 8 hours later  :-[

I hear you

All my worst nightmares have been the ones when it's like an ordinary day, but then you get the dreaded call that someone close to you has been hurt/died.
Always feel like shit the entire day, but gives a different perspective of life during the entire day afterwards.

Oh I see. I thought that your nightmare actually occurred 8 hours after you woke up.

Visual hallucinations are just one of the many sensations experienced when using hallucinogens.  They'll still have a helluva trip, although I suspect it wouldn't be very pleasant.  Probably too disorienting.

I would say they have a better chance of getting in touch with transcendental reality.
