We have donemultiplelondon to sri lanka flights.  You give them milk on take off and landing to equalise the ears otherwise they will scream. Take an ipad and get them tired before the flight. Last timefrom dubai we put blankets on the floor between the seats and the bulkhead and let our son play on the floor. That was a 7hr flight.

Reminds me when my ex and I decided try this new restaurant and they allowed the couple to use the table right near us to change their baby.
Real classy, really had us there enjoying the moment...

Taking a trip next month with the family and I'm debating on whether or not to fly first class, as I'm traveling with a 22 month old. It will be a 1 hour flight, connect, then a 4 hour flight. I've never flown with a child before and am worried about what the other people will think. Part of me thinks, fuck it, if he's pissed better for me to be comfortable than not, but part of me thinks it would be a dick move to ruin someone's flight that paid for a first class ticket. Thanks.

Fuck 'em.
