Marty Champions is taking a page out of True Adonis school of thought.

Jackie Chan, Kareem L Fishburne and Connor McLeod could easily KO these tits.

if they thought he could fight he would be fighting someone who isn't as one dimensional as Silver, lets just leave the conversation for a time when your boy fights someone who isn't hand picked for him , the Irish market for UFC is halved as soon as he's beaten that isn't happening the UFC is a business, Connor is a commodity thats value hasn't peaked yet, as long as he's protected fed stylistic match ups that suit his style and he keeps running his mouth and Irish wankers  ;D like you keep buying into it He won't be fighting anyone who's genuine, too risky, they got to much invested.

u definately follow MMA/UFC cause only people really into it would know what the real deal is like u just explained.most fans r in the DARK about the BUSINESS side of THE UFC. the only reason dana brought BROCK over from the WWE was to get his greedy hands on the PPV sales that would go thru the roof when all of brocks little WWE fans started tuning in to watch their hero. just like dana was creaming in his pants when CAIN WON the HW BELT,now dana has the MEXICAN fans tuning in to watch cain. dana couldnt care less about JDS cause BRAZIL is already a wrap, guys like ALDO,ANDERSON,SHOGUN ECT took care of that in the last 5 to 10 yrs. but ireland needed a mcgregor to get them to tune in and watch,im not saying ireland fans didnt watch cause i know ireland is a huge FIGHTING ORIENTED COUNTRY with very tough fighters and irish poeople in general are a tough bunch imo, dana just securing that now with mcgregor and like HONEST just said about JOE SILVA and SEAN SHELBY hand picking pretty much all strikers to keep mcgregor as safe as possible(hes a hot commodity) till the UFC locks down alot of the IRISH FANS and raise his popularity to unheard of proportions and ferttita and dana accomplished what they want and that HUGE PPV NUMBERS from IRELAND and when the UFC goes to ireland MCGREGOR will be leading the charge and headlining the card$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

He is a cash cow for the UFC so of course they're protecting him somewhat so they can get their 50,000 seater stadium fight with Aldo. Are you trying to tell me they were protecting him against Brandao (who was ranked above him), a bjj black belt and Poirier who was #5 in the division when they fought? Next, he's gonna beat Siver (which is a gimme matchup but there was nobody else available). Frankie Edgar probably is more of a threat to McGregor than Aldo because of his elite wrestling and he's just a machine. TBH, the fight with Aldo could go either way but with the supreme confidence and the serious momentum behind him I have to give the edge to Conor.
You fail to see just how dangerous he really is for the 145ers. He has a reach advantage and serious KO power along with awesome footwork and angles.

lmfao. Yeah, Dana was absolutely delighted that his biggest PPV draw in the History of the sport got derailed by a Mexican with no personality. I've never seen Dana more depressed than when he was standing behind Cain being interviewed before he strapped on the belt. Cain is boring, a great fighter but boring and that is not good for the UFC. You need to be marketable and polarizing to put asses in seats.

Strikers are exciting. When they are hand picked matched with other strikers it makes for exciting highlights. The problem is and we have seen this so many times is when they are on the ground being submitted. The Ice Man had great take down defense because of his wrestling back ground but I don't see this with this fighter.

only time will tell, id really like to see mcgregor fight mendes next,or even swanson providing he gets by dennis siver, but who knows?i think danas got something up his sleeve and thats gonna be bringing the UFC to ireland in spring of 2015 and have ALDO VS MCGREGOR SUPER TITLE FIGHT,trust me danas gonna milk this kids popularity for everything he can get outta him. personally i think mcgregor should have to fight a really good GATEKEEPER like mendes or edgar, even swanson id be happy with before the title shot. danas reasoning is them guys already lost to aldo so mcgregor makes the most sense,i can see danas point though in that respect

He tore his ACL against Max Holloway and spent most of the fight on the ground dominating him without any problems.

You're underestimating his TD defense. He's got a solid ground game now also, he's been training under John Kavanagh, a very well respected BJJ black belt for the last few years. People keep saying he's gonna get destroyed when he gets taken down but they're gonna have to taken him down first. Jack Slack is one of the most respected MMA analysts out there and reckons McGregor's the real deal.

Your a good irishman Dave, was just baiting you a bit, but he's got a long way to go,  no doubt he looks to have more than a Bisping type fighter, so lets just leave him to the hype for now until he proves us wrong, will be happy to concede later.
