Gayer than reading a "queerty.com" article and posting it on a bodybuilding board even though it has nothing to do with bodybuilding just so that you can invent a mildly humorous thread title, but not by much.

Super Bowl MVP Winner Aaron Rodgers Allegedly Outed By Rumored Boyfriend

http://www.queerty.com/super-bowl-mvp-winner-aaron-rodgers-allegedly-outed-by-rumored-boyfriend-20131228/

"Rumors are swirling that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was one of the NFL stars expected to come out of the closet this summer, and a cyber sleuth site is all but confirming it with a wealth of dirt that suggests he’s also in a gay relationship.

The Fame Driven was apparently tipped off by an anonymous “spy,” who pointed to a number of now-deleted tweets from the Twitter account of Kevin Lanflisi, the man who worked as Rodgers’ “personal assistant” and lived in his home as “a roommate” for the last several years. (Kinda like Kerry Rhodes and his “friend”…)

According to the spy:

Aaron has attended numerous sports award shows with Kevin, always color coordinated and without any double female dates, including the ESPY’s. Kevin was also the first person Aaron embraced when the Packers won the Super-bowl in 2011. I just find it really strange that as of late there has been many bitter subliminal tweets on Kevin Lanflisi’s twitter alluding to a relationship much deeper than a friendship he had, with who I perceive to be Aaron Rodgers, because Kevin has NEVER once tweeted about having a girlfriend, just mainly about the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers, and Justin Bieber’s music and sitting front row at Bieber’s concert. There has been speculation for years here in Wisconsin that Aaron is gay."

Sorta....yeah Brady's contract was undervalued, but it's set up so that all $57 million is gonna be guaranteed.

The other thing to consider here is that Brady didn't really get any additional weapons from the extra cap space.  Danny Amendola has been their biggest offensive free-agent signing.  Meanwhile, John Elway has been amassing an armada for Peyton, in spite of the big cap hit Manning poses.

Considering that Belichek is a major-league asshole who will probably end up trading Brady to the Texans, Tom Brady should have just gone for the big money....the level of talent on the team would have been similar, even with $5-10 million less cap space.

Brady isn't going anywhere soon

This is a ridiculous statement. He takes pay cuts to get players, he's a Boston icon, Kraft loves him, he ain't going anywhere.

That's like saying Tim Duncan won't retire a spur.

He's signed through 2017, and if he is on the roster for the entire 2014 regular season, his contract is fully guaranteed for injury and skill.  So that leaves us with three possible outcomes:

1)  He continues to play at a high level until age 40
2)  He plays poorly and is benched for Garrapolo.  The Patriots keep him on the team and eat his salary
3)  He plays poorly, is benched, and traded to some desperate team.  The Patriots free up cap space and receive a king's ransom in draft picks.

Which do you think is the most likely outcome?

Guy comes across as a douchebag even when in college

Doesn't have the same class as brady, manning nor brees

brady talks a ton of shit on the field and he's the 2nd highest paid player of all time (behind peyton) so he didn't give up much money

If the Patriots win the Superbowl this year, they probably will be forced to give Tom more money than the 8mil he is to make next year and the year after(which is peanuts). If the Patriots some how are one and done in the playoffs, the Pats might just try to make Tom play for the 8mil and Tom will have no choice but to hold out and most likely will be traded. I believe Belichick believes he can make the playoffs with Garoppolo. And if Brady is only going to be a one and done in the playoffs, Patriots may has well cash in Brady for 2 first round draft picks that someone surely will pay for his services and the Patriots won't skip a beat. For Brady to remain a Patriot after this year, I believe it's Superbowl or bust. Get another ring and the Boston media won't allow Kraft to trade off Brady. If Brady doesn't do shit in the playoffs this year, he may be gone and the media might not care that much if he's traded...The east is a tomato can division so it doesn't take much to win that division...If Brady can't get you another Super Bowl, no need to keep him if Garoppolo projects to be a good to very good QB. Hell some team could actually cough up 3 first round picks for Brady. Or 2 firsts and a second.
