Joe gold moved it twice from original location but it actually closed about a year after he died so around 2005/6.

I asked this because I read an article on tnation by Dan John saying that he foam rolled at the original World Gym but I don't recall any rollers there during the joe gold era.

It moved from the second location in Venice in 2000 or so.

The first location was in Santa Monica from 1978-1987 give or take...

I trained there from 79 to the middle of 81. Dan John is a little older than me. I think that's what through me.
