I believe that the gentleman on the left is an old time acquaintance of mine who used to own or still does own points in one of more of the V strip casinos.
Dean Martin used to own a bar in Hollywood and I was told that I was sitting on his private bar-stool, but since i was a Marine from Pendlerton it was OK and if Mr Martin stoped in he would most definitely buy me a couple of cocktails.
But time was of the essence and I had to take off before Dean entered the scene so that was a lost opportunity which I stil regret.
I left that bar with a hearty SEMPER FI from the bar-keep and more than a couple of complimentary cocktails.
