Indians are seriously retards in all aspect of life other than the one field of study they choose.  They want to be a doctor, they'll be a great doctor.  They want to be a scientist, they'll be a great one, but in the rest of their lives, in all aspects they are complete fucking idiots.  Seems they have a great a ability to learn one thing and learn it well but live very specific types of lives, not well rounded and seem to lack in a general acceptance of society.

Funny you mention this, for the most part I agree. Sometimes when I'm studying something but not studying as hard as I should I tell myself " what would an Indian do?"  He wouldn't be on getbig he would crack open that book and be studying for hours".

From what I read, in a bunch of articles, this kid got nothing but help, and coaching. But when you think about it, in a 99+% minority high school, the teachers and counselors, probably didn't have that much to do, in regards to helping many other students get into college, so they could devote all their time to him.

His Intel entry: "The Role of PARP-1 in MeHeg-induced Dopaminergic Dysfunction and Mitochondrial DNA Depletion" is mentioned in several article about him, but I couldn't find the full text to analyze anywhere, through several searches. From bits of info in articles about him, it stated that DHA prevents, and improves Alzheimer's Disease. No news there. And that toxins can block the absorption of nutrients in Alzheimer's patients. Again, no news. If he really had made any hew discoveries, they'd be handing him a Nobel Prize by now, because he's black. But a summery of others work, was enough to sneek him into the top 300 in the Intel contest. Intel had complaints, early on, that no blacks were getting into the high ranking in their annual contest, so PC again.

When you think about it, it's not too difficult to understand why he got so many acceptances from Ivy League, and other big name universities. How many blacks could even be made to look as though they are Ivy League material? Of course the universities have to compete to get the few "qualified" black students that are available, to make their quota.

In any case, the kid's path, has been greased for him. I still don't think he did anything special, to get nationwide publicity, except he is black. As I said before: Man Bites Dog Story!

Blacks made up 12% of the Freshman class at Harvard. I suspect that this is fairly standard +/- a few points at the other IVY schools. What is interesting is that 47% is minority. Of the whites, what percent do you think were the real Hebrews...sorry Wiggs. It has been reported that Jews get 50% or more of the Nobel prizes each year. When I went to medical school, we had a Jewish population of 45% and got all the traditional Jewish Holidays off. If I had to see a physician I would want to see a Jewish doctor as they have consistently been the brightest mentors I have had in my medical career. I don't know if it is a cultural thing; I suspect it is. They just know damn everything and are so bright. Locally, there is probably not one black physician who is worth their salt. The best docs I know are Jews and a few Irish guys I am good buddies with. Cubans are very bright, but the Mexicans are dumb as a box of rocks.

True that, one of my buddies is black and a retinal surgeon. Has a BS from Harvard, MD from Harvard, PhD from MIT, and a MBA from Northwestern. Most brilliant guy I know. However, he is from Detroit and his family includes the first black medical school graduate from Ford University in Michigan. His brother is a hematology oncologist. I believe his ethnicity is Nigerian but he is born in the states. Regardless, I don't really think it is a race thing to be honest. I think it is cultural. Any family that stresses education and puts a premium on it will have successful kin. White, black, Asian, latin, or whatever. I don't think it really matters. What matters is genes (are your folks smart) and culture. The reason blacks in the US are so under-represented is because their family system is for shit and the culture worships athletes and rappers while making fun of successful individuals. How many times have you seen blacks call a nerdy black an Uncle Tom. Sad.

Yes HUGE difference between Africans and "african americas" or black Americans. Nigerians especially very hard working industrious people. My friend who is Nigerian says that black Americans are jealous of them and they don't really get along because of their success after only being in the country a short time. While black Americans for the most part are a problem.
