Unlike Stan he put all his eggs in one basket and has nothing to show for. Stan started his career as a hobby only and to this day, it's still a hobby. He was already a personal trainer from the get go and was using bbing as a marketing tool for him to attract more clients esp the high end celebrity deals
The thing is he didn't put all his eggs in one basket. He tried to start businesses. The gym didn't start out selling $100/ year memberships. They were $250-300 at first. They only dropped memberships to $100 after they decided they would close the gym. They actually took over the space from a gym that was there immediately before them and they shut down in exactly the same way.
And I'm not sure what his partner situation was with MuscleMaker Grill, but that closed while he was in jail (again). So, if he had a partner, they're not the ones who drive it into the ground. It's more likely that he had to pull his money out to deal with his legal situation and HE was the one screwing over his partner. In between the restaurant and the gym was another short stint in jail as a drug dealer.
Entrepreneurs fail at multiple businesses before they get their footing, but it's not like this was just some hardworking businessman who just didn't hit on the right idea yet. These businesses failed because of him.
