Let's not forget that when the big names, Tyson, Pippen, go broke it's not like they're living in the neighborhoods they grew up in. Usually their assets are frozen and they get a fixed 6 figure income until the debts with creditors are settled.

The one who really surprised me was Micheal Vick, I know the NFL contracts are all figures unlikely to be earned, his financial situation was a nightmare but he came out of it. Kudos to him.
