THIS JUST IN: Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine was attacked tonight outside the Jimmy Kimmel Live studio in Hollywood.

The singer was hit in the face with a white powder as he met with fans on his way into the studio. The suspected attacker was apprehended at the scene according to eyewitnesses.

Maroon 5 is one of the few bands that are good nowadays. Levine is very talented. Sings great live which is virtually impossible for most of today's "singers".

Not my favorite band, but would rather listen to that than Shakira or some gay shit like that. He does have very strong vocals, gotta respect that, especially considering how most bands today can't do it live as bands used to...

I hate commercial music, but if I had no choice, could tolerate this in a car. Top 40 club music, will have me going total fuckin' apeshit, especially when they turn it up real loud during their favorite shitty ass parts... Fuck, getting mad just thinking of it, lol...

Exactly. They have become more pop then when they first came out and actually their songs that aren't played on the radio are better then most of theirs that are. Assuming that is because nowadays mainstream likes the more pop sound of those.

I'm going to throw myself under the bus though and say I love shakira's voice (not all of her music, though). Very distinctive and also very good live. Her issue is kind of along the same lines as previously written. When she does american cd's recently she changes and panders to what is played on mainstream radio. Her Spanish stuff is pretty good generally. Has a great tone to her voice.

I always say that I wish people like her and Christina aguilara would stop making all of these pop/club stuff and use their voices more like they used to. I haaaate Christina's music but her voice is amazing. Ruins it by doing all that digital crap.
