Who here does not have social media? No Facebook, no twitter, no instagram

I get a huge amount of business off Facebook and Instagram. So i'm on both all day for work.

Personal Facebook don't use much except to troll news sites and write getbigger comments to get reactions from people or try and get the top comment (most likes).

You must be very careful of who you add then. Are you talking about making a fan page for your business? I can see the point of that. You start adding random people to create a network on an actual account and watch how you get judged by who your friends are. If I ever met anyone when I had one, first thing I'd do is scan their friends list for people who I knew were scumbags.

Back in the POF days I could see what losers they had on there and instantly judge who if I wanted to keep pursuing or to leave them in silent treatment.

My business is a person on Facebook. Also have a page too. As a person people can msg me and i can reply immediately. I am run off my feet with the amount of business i am getting most weeks.

Insta is just great as i can take photos of all the new stock i get in as i open it up. I've had customers come in and just show me a photo, i grab it, easy sale.

Obviously i get business on texts or phone calls as well but Social media is the best. Free advertising, word of mouth means they can tell someone and they are on my Insta immediately and can see what i stock.

At least that makes it useful then. From what I've seen and heard from others it's just a way to record what you had for lunch and 'share' it with the world.
