The jobs that I have seen for personal training in gyms usually only recognize specific organizations (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NFPT).Why did you choose Haney's certification program and not one that is nationally recognized?
Its not nationally recoqnized?I thought Lee Haney was famous for his muscles and mr olympia winsLearning his knowledge of training and increasing muscle mass without anabolic steroids is everyones goal
40-50k/year???You have to make it, nobody is gonna dish it out to you. But people today don't wanna train. They like obstical courses where you go station to station do pushups, run then do burpee's...No way I could put people or encourage them through such BS.
Depends what type of clientele you get. If you go to an upscale gym in the Upper West side of Manhattan, youre going to get a lot of old rich people who just want to try and get in better shape. That is who you have to target. Pretty much the 50-100 year old crowd lol. Or "Soccer Moms." Other than that, many want to do obstacle courses.
Sure, but working in that gym will probably cost the trainer 2k in rent off the bat. And people like that are BORING to train! Pro gym here back in the day used to charge $1200 and that is not in the rich part of town to put it lightly.... I can imagine up scale gyms asking 2k a month to have an office.Just don't tell them you post on this site, lol!!!
