how do u know Lee?  I don't recall him working out at Venice except photo shoots?

Tbone  you should  just start a stories thread of your own, you've crossed paths with everyone. I think it's safe to say you're  one of the true treasures of getbig (slight homo).


Shawn Ray looks like he's trying to stay in Lee Priest muscletech off season shape, no small accomplishment.

Met Haney in person for the first time at a 1988 Mr Olympia post party. He had just won his 5th Olympia. Saw him a few days after at Golds Venice doing photo shoots.  Then when I worked for Weider and David Zelon (Pro Muscle) at the Weider bodybuilding camps we had Haney come out two times, for one week each time.  I saw Haney on a daily basis during the camps.  Actually hung out with him- went to the grocery store together, when to Venice Beach and walked around. The bodybuilding camps were held at LMU, just a few miles south of Venice.

Christian did indeed have some real muscle. He is living down in Dallas and training and eating right- he said.  Flex was close by. He was working a booth with Stan Efferding.  Hung out with him quite a bit. He's working out pretty hard.  Had some good size on him.  I didn't notice any Synthol.  He was in good spirits. Flex is living in Morgan Hill, Ca.

Stan Efferding was monstrous. 262 and crazy vascular.  Told me he pulled 771 a few months ago just to see if he could do it.
