carbs on the go
« on: February 19, 2006, 12:27:38 AM »
Are there such things as "Carb bars" just like there's Protein bars?? I need something that I can eat on the go, they don't have to be bars if there is no such thing, but something that I don't have to carry around in tupperware or heat up in the microwave. I saw Jackels list of Bodybuilding foods, but the only thing I can think of that I saw that would fit this is bananas. But, I wanna be consuming large amounts of carbs during the times I'm not at home, with little sugar as possible. Low glycemic carbs preferably. Thanks for any info. Peace.

On the go I bring along slices of Ezekial Bread which are made completely of whole and sprouted grains. No sugar, 4 grams of fiber, and 4 grams of protein (complete) per slice. You can find it in health food stores mostly and I think it's one of the best carb choices out there.

Thx Aristotle. I didn't think anyone was going to reply. I'll try Whole Foods or something. Later.
