Straight line speed is generally unimpressive.  The 458 would dust that dirty vw on any track.  I could never imagine any decent female hoping into that disgusting smoking pumpkin either, whould much rather deal with the gold diggers the 458 attracts ;D

I think he had a quicker reaction time to take off but was still very fast. The Ferrari dude must have been pissed!!!
