Not really. Probably the biggest negative is Getbig slang or inside jokes working their way into really life conversations. For instance, I'll definitely have to think carefully when Dubai comes up, and I've accidentally called blacks hebrews before in real conversation $:-\$

The truth? At least my truth? It's certainly addicting. I got hooked recovering from an injury. Laying around all the time getbig pulled me in. It's funny as hell most of the time. On the one hand, getbig is awesome. On the other hand there's a lot of hopelessness talk about life, not being able to make it in the world, poverty talk etc. Thats the part that can start weighing on a mans mind. At least mine so anymore I don't open those threads. I think sometimes if u read too many of those threads u begin to believe that u can't get ahead in life.

getbig is a microcosm of your town. You have friends, people to break balls with, comedians, morons, smart people. For the most part, you can avoid the assholes as long as you don't feed them. I se nothing negative about the place except the "outings" which are unnecessary.

Not at all, as my mind is not weak. I enjoy most reading different view points as there's a ton of interesting thoughts to be found if you dig deep enough. I basically ignore 98% of all threads and only scan those that look interesting. I have a well honed ability to read words and not take anything in unless it's interesting. I've never read a Joon thread in my entire time here. I couldn't pick him or Navy Mike or whoever out of a line up. I trust my mind ignoring those by reflex as I once must've caught a post by them once and found it uninteresting.

I enjoy reading Natural Man, Wiggs (although for the comedy value as he takes his silly little Blacks-is-a-lost-tribe crusade so seriously) and a few others I can't recall right now.

But no, zero positive or negative on my mind.

That'll mean that I take this all serious

In complete seriousness, there are some pretty negative effects that posting and reading on here has had on my mind.

1. Reading the random picture thread and the athletic women thread every day, had not had a positive impact on the way I view my wifes body. She is in shape, but obviously after 2 natural births she doesn't have the figure she used to. I wouldn't change her for the world as she is my princess, but looking at extreme examples of women in great shape is not positive in this respect.
