A wise man told me don't argue with fools.  Cause from a distance, people can't tell who's who.

If it was Bob Chick, Milos, Shawn Ray, or some person in power with a personal agenda abusing his/her powers or lying to the fans, I engage in an argument.  Personal credibility, intellectual and political capital is exchanged, and I am often the winner, and sometimes the loser.

One has nothing to gain from arguing with you.  You're a nobody schmoe.  You're not even a joke, because nobody really cares to know or read about you.  Now go back to spamming us with flexonline pics you didn't take, and chiming in with the company line about how PDI this & that, when you really don't know what's going on.

Much better.

1st paragraph 6/10
I also like "He that wrestles with us strengthens our nerves and sharpens our skill. Our antagonist is our helper" Edmund Burke

2nd paragraph. 1/10.
What you're doing is standing on the outside with zero knowledge of the intricacies of the business you're commenting on and trying to apply your newly found knowledge to it. Just like a kid with a new drivers licence thinks he's a race car driver, you're clutching your MBA thinking you're the worlds greatest business man.  If you really want to make an impact on the sport why don;t you get involved in a more constructive way. Become a judge, a promoter, whatever takes your fancy. It's much easier to make change from within. Shouting abuse from the outside only makes you one of the fools your wise man told you to avoid

3rd. paragraph. 2/10
Quite witty but the first 3 sentences reveal as much about you as it does me. As for spamming the board, again that is something you excel at but to date you are the first to complain.
As for the photos, check your facts. To accuse me of chimming in with the company line only proves you don't know me.

Become a judge,
a promoter,
whatever takes your fancy. It's much easier to make change from within.

Well, you present a decent argument. But your methods of change:

1- Judge- you make 50 to 100 bucks a day plus travel expenses.   not worth it.
2- Promoter- they all seem to lose money no matter what. Big money.  And you're dependent upon the competence of others- not my cup of tea.

3- Change from within is easier? I disagree.  I have no ties, no obligations, no commitments.  The right turn of events and I might support the IFBB (say, if they start fair judging and more prize $, and wayne ends up not being on the level).  I'll never blindly lie cause my bosses want me to. Cause I don't have a boss, besides the good lord, and my wife. :(

There's a guy who's living the bodybuiilding dream. He's in Venice, training at Gold's everyday, hanging out at the Firehouse and the MaxMuscle store. He's doing everything a young bodybuilder reads about in the magazines. Throw in the facts that he's also charismatic, intelligent, succesfull, 2nd only to me in the good looks department, he's never dated an ugly woman and he's respected by everyone who knows him.
Deep down, that's what 240 wants to be like - heck even I'd love Bob's life - but he doesn't think he's capable of it so he attacks. Once he grows in confidence we'll be seeing him and envying him too.

Wow - nice dream.  To hang out at an overpriced egg white cooking restaurant and a retail store in a strip mall.

Anymore of this and we could end up buddies!

1. Agreed, judges dont make any money and they take the most heat from anyone.

2. Agreed. The promoter's are the people who take the most risk for the least gain. That's why I have the most respect for Shawn Ray. He's been critical of other show's in the past but now he's putting his reputation on the line to make change. If he can make a success of his show then it may encourage others to do the same. But he's being attacked because of the changing line-up. It's not his fault that it changes. Athletes change their mind.

3. Disagree.
You list the things you want yet you attack the people who are trying to make change. Why are you only prepared to be supportive once you see changes, why not help make the changes by taking a more proactive role?

It's not arguning it's debating and no it's not the same thing as you do with your group of buddies where you huddle in the corner and mass-debate.

Admit it, you'd love it except you can't afford the eggs and your Mommy won't let you go to the mall alone.

I would have voted for Dean- he was also for concealed carry, moreso than Bush.  I'm a one-issue guy. I'll worry about the other issues as I get older. Personal protection comes first, IMO.

You mean after thousands of American troops are dead over WMD'sOsamaharbored terroristsOperation Freedomdemocracyinstallation of a Sunni governmentoil? After all of those troops are dead, and their benefits are cut once the living ones return home, especially the ones who weren't provided adequate body armor so they're missing limbs and desperately need those benefits, and Iraq is in the midst of a civil war-- Is that when Bush will go down as the greatest President since 2000? Well, as long as 240 gets to conceal firearms, I guess you have a point. Make sure to tell that to the parents of one of those soldiers left in Iraq. And 240, don't forget to use a silencer tough guy!

By "to", do you mean "you"?
If so, the readership of Flex are far too intelligent to be interested in anything I'd write. You don't read FLEX do you? But you do reply to all my posts!

His decision to invade Iraq could lead to a democratic Iraq and the movement for democracy could spread throughout the Middle East. He could easily be remembered more fondly than FDR or JFK. He could be as important as John Tyler, Milliard Fillmore or even Grover Cleveland. I don't have to be psychic to see his potential if things go well.

Iraq was the wrong place to take this idea out for a spin. It's an artificial nation created by the British after WWI, and made up of three groups who hate each other. Not exactly a fertile breeding ground for democracy. It'll be a minor miracle if it doesn't degenerate into all-out civil war.

Iran, with its relative homogeneous population and long history of nationhood, would have been a much better choice.  With the bullshit they've been pulling lately, we may still get the chance.  ;D

Iraq could still be subdivided into three smaller nations. It has a chance still. The problem with invading Iran is that it could unite the people under the current mullahs, especially if too many civilians are killed during the war.

Like the civillians killed in Iraq? Or different? Would you subdivide those rotting corpses into three plots, or just pretend they don't exist, oh Luscious Little Leaguer? And, um, why should any country subdivide another country into thirds anyway? Wouldn't that be defined as "nation building"- something your beloved president has publicly stated he is against?

Stick to bodybuilding, son. At least with bodybuilding you can make a fool of yourself and not also come off as unhinged. Or not.

Yes, it would be so much better to have Saddam still in charge and about to turn power over to his sons, who were actually worse than him. You could subdivide Iraq because the nation was created with pretty arbitrary borders. Are you just going to pretend Saddam and his sons wouldn't have killed more Iraqis? Sometimes leaders have to change their minds because the world has changed. There is nothing wrong with that.

I suppose you are some expert on foreign policy ::)
