Bye bye Phil

lol...Kai hasn't beaten Phil in four years or scored a single point against him. Don't think all of a sudden that's going to change, especially since Kai couldn't even topple Phil last year which was Phil's all time worst showing.

His bicep is super freaky baseball like. Does not look like oil, just a baseball protruding through.

That's the only way he should do most musculars.  He looks smaller doing it the crab way.

Have you been watching LUI Marco YouTubes? Haha

I like LUI on a DAILYEE baby please.  ;D
I know he feels the same way.  I've been saying it for years.  Phil destroys him in this pose.  His best hope is to do a pose that makes him look the best. The crab is not this pose.

Looking better than Phil Heath will not be enough for Kai to win.  He has to look significantly and obviously better than Heath, which I'm sad to say I think is unlikely.

Nah, I don't think he is powerless. I think if he wanted to, he could fix it. He could throw his weight behind MuscleMania or Paul Dillett's federation. And by doing that he would bring more exposure to the quality physiques. Or he could give more money to the physique guys in the IFBB, more than the bodybuilders. This would be as punishment.

I don't think he's as connected to the whole industry anymore. His festival weekend has shifted gears from being about bodybuilding to being about celebrating all kinds of sports. I don't thik he had much influence over anything. Pretty much everyone agreed with his comments at his seminar but it doesn't look like much has changed since he said it except people making excuses and hurling insults

imagine if all the athletes watched Phil's feet at the Olympia.

IF he steps a foot over the line - then they see it and they ALL do it, at the same time.

every single time.  and if they are told to step back, then they all look at Phil, just look at him, until HE steps back.

Seriously, in any other sport, the competitors just want an even starting line.  If Usain bolt was allowed to run a 90 meter dash, while they all ran 100, they'd certainly mock the idea.

I don't think he needs to be connected to the whole industry. His show is easily the second biggest one of the year (his original). With his bankroll he could easily shadow the Olympia with prize fund and or switch federation. No other show will have the prestige that is Mr Olympia but he could himself provide a different show with more influence and quality, that after time could become the new standard.

If anyone has the money and influence to boycott the IFBB it's Arnold.

Good points. I agree. Many people have been cheering for the demise of the Ifbb for years but with these new divisions things keep going. I would like to see Arnold do something world class to challenge men's bodybuilding with beautiful physiques.

I think poor phil is having a rough time of it. Seems like he has a lot going on internally. Hope he takes some time off after the show to get himself together. That mental game ain't no joke and this is when you need a strong team of supporters around you. Not hangers on and skanks.

Theres some things we gotta remember here that might be affecting Phil we know nothing about.  His ex-wife.

We don't know what happened why they split etc.  I guess well see in about 3 weeks.   When people go through divorce or separate it can and will affect them depending on the circumstances and most of the time the circumstances aren't that great. I guarantee having your wife in your corner ensuring everything runs smoothly emotionally is a huge burden off a persons shoulders.  It's very underestimated.

Yep and stress can and will destroy people emotionally and physically. I have no doubts hes having a hard time. Even simple stuff like having the laundry done, grocery shopping, food prep, and getting your ass out of bed for am cardio is super helpful in prep. Not to mention the motivational speeches, reassurance, dealing with snippy and insecure meltdowns, and in this case mean people onliem is also necessary

I don't like speculating on people's relationships but it's never just one person's fault. The demise of a relationship takes two people. It doesn't just end when the relationship ends...it usually ends long before that.

It takes a different kind of woman to be with a successful
Man because it's hard. You've got to be self assured and confident in your own right or else you are gonna stress him and yourself out

Hope he gets it together. I don't want to see him posting depressing and pathetic videos online in 5 years

phil just has the strung-out stimulant looks.   Comes with the territory of getting completely sliced for the show.

he'll be ready on show day.
