Levrone looked phenomenal at the start, 1991-1992, legs where there, back was half good, great lat spread from front and rear, but weak BDB... After he had few good shows, like 1995 Olympia and 1994 ASC, but he regressed year after year, legs completely gone around late 90s, looking more and more only upper arms and shoulders... Oliva had incredible genetic, had everything, structure, muscle bellies, proportions, symmetry, but king of the genetic hill will always be Dillett in my opinion, who also had the height contrary to Oliva... Like Nether Animal rightly said, it was not only a matter of work ethic... Yes, he had a lousy diet, mostly never worked hard enough coasting on his unmatched gifts, but he also had injuries/surgeries and chronic asthma, and he almost died for an idiotic advice on diuretics...

DILLET was a freak I give it to you,structure/legs /calves..what threw it off was back/posing/chest shape and the veins in that area as well..

Absolutely a shit poser as well.

People often overlook Arnold's ability to pose, but it's almost an entirely lost art.

That is incorrect. The offseason pic is from his early days, and the after pic was taken 12 weeks later.
the pic you posted is from the movie he did.

he did that movie when he already had retired long ago  ::)

the date is mentioned right below the youtube video

Absolutely, and it's fucking annoying because if you watch him at the 1993 Ironman, where he posed decently, you could see that he had a very good back, wide and huge lats that inserted low... Showed a great RLS and BDB, but it all turned to shit years and shows after with that shakey posing with no muscle control, only moving one lat and always squeezing those gigantic shoulders making his back disappear... Agreed that posing is a lost art, can really make a difference, we had Dillett to confirm this, and Arnold for the opposite... Chest was good early, huge and wide, regressed after 1995 like the rest...

Dead by 53 is my guess. We're still voting on when these drug addict clowns will die right? That's half of my reason for posting.

You think Kev will be dead within three years?

Having a little coconut head didn't hurt either.

Exactly.  Peter McGough mentioned that in (I believe) the documentary on Joe Weider.  Sergio's small head helped a lot.  The opposite of Phil Heath.

Who gives a shit. Levrone is barely a footnote in a nothing sport.

He was one of the top competitors of the decade.   Even if each decade only produced 10 names that would be remembered, he'd still be in there.

That is the son of Steve B, who owns MD.

Clearly, you are incorrect. The first shot was him during offseason. Then 12 weeks later he jumped on the sauce, and BAM, transformed into a monster!!
You are wrong. He competed at the Arnold Classic and the Olympia in 1999.How he shrunk so much in between those two shows? This was him post retirement. He was never that much off in his off seasons.
