The back double biceps pose and Phil Heath
« on: September 19, 2015, 02:41:45 PM »
Why is it that Phil is able to get away with doing his back double bicep shot by scruntching (made up word) himself down like a midget and everybody else stands up straight. He's trying to hide his flaws in his lower back by doing it this way and he looks about 5 inches shorter. He needs to stand up and do the shot right like everyone else in comparisons. If people start making up their own ways of doing poses then we have a mess on our hands.  watch any of his back double bicep poses compared to others around him he's been getting away with this for awhile and no one's notice outside of Parker and a couple others.

Doesn't Wolf do the same thing? Leaning way back into it to hide his back flaws?

Yes, Wolf started doing his version because his lower back was on empty. He doesn't scrunch himself down though.  he somehow pushes out his lower back.

Exactly.
Rhoden also hits his fdb standing sort of casualy, not standing straight up

Zane use to modify a lot of the mandatory poses to suit himself.

It should be up to the judges to make Phil and Wolf stand up straighter, but we all know the judges know just about jack shit these days.
