Maybe their actually bigger and leaner but the extra drugs and maybe size (and Insulin) has made them hold water elsewhere that they can't lose.

I'm pretty positive it's the gh. Somehow it gets your ass lean.

One thing showing how the volume of steroid injections has gone up dramatically is also the ass 80's and 90's you never saw the huge upper glutes. Now EVERY single top pro has a huge bump on the upper glutes. It's so huge you can see it from the front

Even with irritating, poorly made gear it takes some volume (as in cc's and ml's) to achieve an ass like this

I'm sure it's inflamed but it's not just a bad shot, it's repeated high volume injections which gives a Synthol-like effect. But I'm sure Roelly hit his glutes very close to the show too so it's extra bad. In the 90's you didn't see this, at least I didn't. Now many, most, guys have big upper glutes from all the shots.

I've been clean 12 years. I still have scar tissue in my right delt from injections because my ass was a fucking minefield over time. I don't know how these guys keep doing it.

GREAT VIDEO.. guy in the screen cap here  guy is casey chakara,,I knew him as casey katuryack he won his pro card in Poland for ifbb,,but he did aau/nabba for yrs,,he trained at some gyms 90's that I did,amazing build,ripped yr round,legs were outstanding,his tris which you can see in the video paled in thickness to his biceps which were very good.nice build ,,he did some night of the champions then ...

I definately agree with you Van,but in that particular pic,it looks inflamed..........like you said,injected too close to the contest without a need to do so except for possible psychological reasons.
