Girls sports is the most affirmative action thing ever.  The lesson should've been, you're not good enough for soccer let's try lacrosse or tennis, or roller derby, or .....  because there are a million other sports teams you can be on.  The other lesson should've been you can suck at the next sport for seven years before you get booted and by that time you'll be in College.

I don't know, I'm kinda torn.  On the one hand here is this group of 7 families whose daughters all know each other and are friends and they all hang out together for many years and socialize a lot around the team.  So they are basically kicking her and her family out of this friendship circle.  On the other hand, lead, follow or get the hell out of the way.  This is all precollege high school club level, but scholarships could be tied in due to team performance.
