Russia made the mistake of flying with impunity over another countries airspace.  When the pilot ejected, he was beaten and shot dead by Syrian Rebels.....afterwards, they mutilated and chopped up the body into pieces.  The other pilot who ejected is missing but I don't think he's going to be alive neither
