You cant squash 1.2 billion people, esp not without the oil that the funding countries possess... you can kill terrorists and more will spawn. Until you reach a diplomatic agreement, after thousands and more have died to get there, you wont achieve a thing.

I am being a realist here. Problem is the ideological difference between us and them is too big to bridge now. Bloodshed is all that will reduce it.

If you keep killing them they'll lose hope. There will always be terrorism but we can reduce their numbers.

Why the hell are these people in Iraq and Syria allowing themselves to be captured alive by ISIS?    Even early pioneers in the West fighting the Indians on the plains knew to keep the last bullet in the pistol to use for yourself in case you are surrounded, rather than face capture and torture by the Indians.   And yet we see dozens and dozens of videos of these captives of ISIS willingly letting themselves be captured alive, and being paraded in front of cameras and having their heads chopped off.   Just boggles my mind why these idiots allow themselves to be taken alive by these barbarians.
