it's just a political issue.   Repubs USED to be all about global warming caused by mankind.  Romney, Palin, Newt... they were all on board.  Then, the people changed their minds so they did too. 

these politicians are just taking the position of those whose votes/donations they desire.  Arnold could probably care less about small changes in weather possibly related to mankind... a lifetime of his actions shows this... but he knows most people watching movies and living California buy into it.

is there such a thing as "climate change"? probably.  can we really control it? probably not.

sooner or later there will be another ice age or something, and we will all be wiped out regardless of what we do. but humans are so arrogant they actually think they can alter cyclical events that the earth has gone through for billions of years.

It would naive to think that the burning of fossil fuel, combustion engines, toxic dumping and manufacturer waste does not impact the environment.  Simple, look at the water ways around any industrial factory, they are usually devoid of fishery and wild animals.  As to how much it affects the climate that is open to debate amongst politicians and scientists. But to deny that the industrial revolution doesn't and didn't impact the environment is idiotic.

The lost of habitat, trees, forests, swamps and so forth impacts the world.

No we're not , we just massively overestimate our significance and importance. All of the above(and more) cause little more than surface wounds to the earth, when it's ready it will cover us all in ice and start the cycle again. The earth will still be here billions years after humans have gone.
