What % does finasteride lower test's effectiveness?

If one did a test only cycle with finasteride, in general, would that lower the cycles efficacy by what percent?  Roughy speaking?  30%?

I thought I read a piece in MD stating that it did not lower lean gains...

No idea but that stuff totally killed my libido and I'm always super horny. Took me a long time to pin point what was causing the sides I was feeling. Too bad, as it was filling in the spot in the back of my head!

I have no experience with finasteride but with dutaseride

while being on dutasteride and experiencing some unwanted body changes i read pretty much about it

people who use/used dutasteride worried themselves about muscle loss etc.
some people claimed they gained muscle (probably water) while others said they lost muscle

what i've also gathered is you don't lose muscle because DHT is not active in the muscle (they backed it up with studies) and it will only lower your ability to resist mental strain while training
lowering your dht will (probably) increase your estrogen thus you will be more watery

now my personal experience was different

I don't use exogenous test. I lost muscle and gained water and i can be absolutely sure about that since i started on a very lean and maxed out basis (training since roughly 9 years). This happened after 2 weeks of using it or at least that's when I noticed it

I not only got more watery but also shrunk half a size or a full size down (judging from my now loose hanging shirts)

So the whole DHT is not active in the muscle doesn't apply to me and going out on a limb here doesn't apply to anyone else as well

doesn't affect everyone the same

took dutasteride and letro each a pill/day. dick still worked suprisingly good albeit I'll have to admit not 100%. neglectable tho and far from limp

dht blockers have killed some guys dicks permanently, even MONTHS and YEARS after usage. read into it.

Finasteride and Dutasteride both block 5 alpha reductase receptors. Dutast alot more than fina. Dutast does it to such a degree, it could grow your hair back with the proper procedures. But again, you need DHT, it's the most powerful form of testosterone in the body, dihydrotestosterone, why would you want that? I, with horrible skin problems, looked into it to see if it would help, and it's totally not worth it from the things I have read. DHT is responsible for so many things, including muscle hardness. Anyways, that's just my opinion on it.

If you care about your hair, keep away from tren mast winnie, or harsh dht compounds. Keep testosterone at sane dosages, and try to rely more on deca, it's more of an anabolic. Will be much slower to be a baldy this way, but ull become one one day either way whether or not you like it

Finasteride can be used with Test, blood work regularly would inform you of DHT levels and dosage could be adjusted accordingly.
When prepping for a contest I would not take it, but, off season its not a bad idea.
Most bodybuilders likely wouldn't agree with me.
