I'm not hating or trolling.  I think if you realized it was true - illegals on the terror list, people with warrants, people who just got out of prison, people on expired visas from Iran or wherever... they CAN buy a gun without an ID or background check, from a car trunk in a walmart parking lot.  LEGALLY!

The two rifles used in the san bernadino massacre were bought... drum roll please... in a PRIVATE SALE.

The terr'ist didn't want the guns in his name, so he bought them from a buddy.  A buddy who wanted to be a terr'ist, but decided to stop - BUT was willing to buy the guns for bad guy because he thought hey, it's just a private sale, it's legal.

If this loophole law is in place, this prick doesn't buy the guns for his friend and sell them in a PRIVATE SALE with no ID, no background check, and ZERO record that this prick now has two hi cap rifles.

You people still support private sales with zero ID or record?

For someone who claims to be so pro 2nd, you support implementing a lot of new restrictions. Maybe you shouldn't fly anymore, because hell a terrorist might hijack the plane. Maybe you shouldn't drive anymore because a drunk might hit you. For fuck sake, straw purchases are already illegal, didn't stop it. It's always the same shit, implement more laws, more restrictions, guess what criminals don't obey the fucking law. I think we should restrict your use of the keyboard so you stop posting bullshit, or you could just take a hammer and smash your fingers into dust and save us the trouble.

You're trolling right?  You do realize that CA already has the loophole law in place.  Any firearm sale between two parties who are not authorized dealers must be conducted by an FFL, and a background check must be performed.  Private sales are already illegal in CA.  Furthermore, the sale of assault weapons in CA are illegal as well.  You can only sell to a Peace Officer.  You can't even sell your assault rifle to a gun shop.

So, tell me again how well this law works?   ???

The thing is you can talk about a CA law, or as is often argued here "CHICAGO HAS TOUGHER GUN LAWS AND X AMOUNT MURDERS SO WUT U TINK BOUT DAT?"...

It is an issue of proximity and borders. If you've no borders to police the movement of goods (guns etc) how can you enforce such a law or say it works/does not work? I doubt there are checkpoints around Chicago, yet if you drove a couple of hours you are in the mid west and could buy a cruise missile, an ex army ATV and a 50 caliber gun, no questions asked, and fuck the government if they dare question that transaction - for profit.

I am a realist - I think you should be able to have guns (and drugs etc - your choice, just don't harm others is my guideline, unless they try to harm you). However, you can't denegrate a law when it is made unenforceable by your constitution, state and national law. It is just writing on paper to appease people, not a law.
