Apparently, some PC official decided that the portion of the cartoon classic, where Linus recites the birth of Jesus in Luke 2, was too offensive. So he (or she) told the students to remain silent during that part.

Well, the parents didn't take too kindly to that. So, during the 60-second headspace, THEY recited Luke 2 for the missing Linus character.

Thanks to some help from the Alliance Defense Fund, the school apparently reversed its action and put the part of the play back into the production.

The part where Linus recites the passage is part of the play and has been for decades.

Editing this play because of some PC garbage was ridiculous. The parents apparently felt the same way and the school officials changed their tune.
