Oh Jesus that sounds bad. Fuck I thought it would go away.

Best to see what it looks like. As mentioned earlier and injection can calm it down.  I went two years after a spinal injection before the pain began again and it was far less.  I also work all cervical spinal support muscles and upper back with varying movements.

I have avoided surgery for a very long time.

Thanks man that sounds better. What kind of exercises do you do? Any exercise you avoid?

I have had a C6/C7 problem for a while now. Two Doctors said i need an OP after my scan. I have had a series of Injections and they did help. A lot of Physio too at the same time. I am just concentrating on side, rear, front DB raises and Shrugs with Dumbbells. No pressing. My right tricep was so weak i could not bench anymore. Now i am getting strength back and doing Push ups for chest. My last workout was ..

Front,side, rear laterals 4x12
Dumbbell Shrugs 4x15
Push ups 3xmax
Incline DB curls 4x10-12
Two arm DB french press behind head 4x10-12
DB front squats 5x15-20

I find rowing irritates my neck and over head press. The Bent over laterals are training my rear delts/upper back area to a degree. Not perfect but is ok at the moment. Even wide Grip push ups will also give a training effect to your upper back. The Shrugs are helping a lot.
