I gave it a glance and couldn't solve it. But, it's a lot easier coming up with these concoctions than solving them.

I'd rather not disclose my own IQ, but let me put it like this: I still buy shoes with velcro straps.

Both versions works... it's a typical book example to confuse students and 5%ers...

IQ reveals itself rather easily through observation for those above the Mendoza line. For example, a few minutes of watching the rather dim-witted Donald Trump indicates that he is only marginally smarter than average. Probably in the 108-112 range. Crooked Hillary is far smarter on an IQ level as her deception and deviousness know no bounds precisely because she knows she is smarter than almost everyone. I would estimate her at between 135-140.
