My point is that it's too late for reparations to fix anything. A fat check wouldn't undo a thing, re-write history, or affect the trajectory many people are on.
The idea of reparations is a political distraction.
of course it is. I don't even know how this even gets taken seriously.
Someone made a comment that reperations were already paid with 700,000 people 90% white who lost their lives in the civil war fighting slavery. If 700,000 is the total actually I don't know how many of those were from the North. But good point nonetheless.
