Quest bars: overpriced junk

just got 2 different boxes of Quest Bad. They are mediocre in both taste and consistency and really not worth that hefty price!

Years ago when they first came out, I was very big on them. They also changed the taste/textures in many bars over the years and the price went up. I just don't trust any of these companies anymore for bars.

I think CNP Pro flapjack bars are good. They are based on oatmeal and are fairly priced:

You could leave a Quest Bar out on your lawn for a week and not a single animal or insect would touch it. Okay, maybe an ant might get stuck walking across its surface but that's it. Manufactured, processed chemical garbage.

If I'm feeling that much of a craving, I'll just eat a normal candy bar of my choice.

You should try the pumpkin pie one...it's amazing. Tastes just like pumpkin pie

x2 was sad when that seasonal flavor ended.  Almost indistinguishable from the real thing.....washed it down with a drink from this bad dog and was good to go:

I don't understand the obsession with these things.

Definitely an example of stellar marketing.

So it's not just me. They used to be so good but I tried eating one a few weeks ago and it tasted terrible. I've given up on bars except for power crunch every once in a while

I refuse to believe these could be anything other than exceptionally healthy.

I'll take one with my mid-morning Diet Coke, thank you.

Quest bars are the biggest hunks of shit available
They tasted good at one point until they changed the formula to corn fiber
They are now rock hard tasteless hunks of pure fucking shit
The company is run apparently by morons that instead of listening to loyal customers who tell them they ruined their bars, they simply tell them corn fiber is healthier
All the bars are rock hard
Taste like shit
Fuck up your stomach

And let's not forget the pumpkin pie disaster bar
Thank god that fucking worthless shit was limited edition so I don't have to ever see it again
Didn't taste at all like pumpkin pie
It was a complete disaster
All that stupid advertising for it
Pure garbage
No cinnomon or nutmeg in it
Doesn't even smell like pumpkin pie
Blindfold someone and they would never guess pumpkin pie

And a huge fuck you to the YouTube fitness losers who continue to peddle and endorse those fucking shit bars
Especially a big fuck you to Raymond the online coach
You're an ugly manlet who abuses gear and lies to your followers
I'm glad man sports dropped your midget ass

I don't eat protein bars as much as I used to, but I tried these on a whim because they had a similar makeup as Quest bars. Ended up tasting better and the consistency was much softer. Tasted like a cupcake, so I ended up buying a few boxes that should hold me over for a year.

I thought everyone hated the pumpkin pie bars

The QFC in my neighborhood literally has HUNDREDS of these things in a big bin, selling for $.54 last I checked.  They've been trying to get rid of them for months now, as far as I can tell... the price just keeps dropping, but no one seems to be buying.
