Saying DHEA and andro eventually convert to testosterone is mostly a bullshit statement. It might happen to some degree but mostly it doesn't. It's not even a close analogy. It would be more appropriate to compare morphine derivatives to testosterone derivatives that don't need to go down a complex cascade... something like anadrol.

The conversions of andro & dhea to test are wickedly low. At the end of the day there is still a conversion

Not that easy anymore thanks to the abuse. I had kidney stone surgery a while back and they had to cut into my urethra to get them out. Sent me home with nothing

Holy crap!  Two words you never want to hear in the same sentence are "cut" and "urethra"!!  :o :'(

Hope you're feeling better now dude

The U.S is roughly 11% of the worlds population

Your math is not very strong, is it?

Try 4.3%

Isn't morphine the purest form of heroin?  Some guy wrote a book on why heroin is so addictive vs. Morphine.  People claim all it takes is one hit of heroin to be addicted but then why do millions of people go to the hospital for surgery and not leave as addicts?   Interesting question to think of.
I injected heroin for the first time last year at the age of 42 (just for kicks) and I hated it, made me feel nauseous and sleepy.  I have no idea why anybody would become addicted to that shit, I guess it just depends on your personality.  I also don't like alcohol or it's effects, therefore I never drink.  I do however like ecstasy, 2cb, lsd, mdma, cannabis and steroids.  ;D

Heroin is an addiction you have to "earn", for lack of a better term. Most people who try injecting their first time almost invariably throw up from the nausea. It's also very dangerous to overdose this way since you have no/little tolerance.

Am I naive to think that people that choose to do heroin are basically looking to "escape" or "check out" temporarily?

I imagined that's why people abuse some drugs, such as heroin.

Last year I was at a chiropractor and they had a video playing on a big flat screen. I kid you not the % I listed above must of been repeated 5 times throughout the 20min vid

South FL is the pain pill capital of the world.

----
Prosecutors say Cadet earned $1.5 million writing prescriptions for 2.5 million oxycodone pills over 15 months. Castronuovo, who at the clinics for less than a year, prescribed more than 750,000 and made $160,000.
-----

Another doc was busted for RXing 1500 oxy tablets per month to patients.   Yeah... per MONTH.  That is 50 tabs per day.

Here is something I know is factual because I worked on the project. The VA hospitals don't have a way to share electronic records or at least never had one until maybe last year.  So a patient can go to 20 VA hospitals and get 20 prescriptions of the same drug.  They can then go to 20 different pharmacies and have them filled since most pharmacies only share within their own brand ie. CVS, RiteAid, Walgreens etc...  Prescription overdose is a big issue with Military veterans.

Depends on the Dr.  I work in the medical field and where I'm at, the docs hand pills out like candy.  I see it daily.

My buddy started on alcohol, went to painkillers then moved to heroin. Said he couldn't explain the rush/feeling you got. Destroyed his life for awhile. Was spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars a day on it as you get a tolerance to that as well and have to take more to feel the same high, etc. Parents put him in a homeless shelter finally to try and get through to him. And yes it is basically escapism.

If you've been IVed dilaudid or morphine in the hospital you already know what heroin feels like.

It's all the same mechanism of action from vikes up to smack, the route of administration is the real x factor.

Well, I did it do see what it felt like, and it felt shit.

As for escaping, I always say reality is a crutch for people who can't handle drugs.  ;D

Personally, I try and use drugs to enhance my life not escape from it, I mean it would be pretty silly telling someone that they drink coffee to escape or check out.  This is the issue with recreational drugs, so much misinformation and propaganda.  The majority of people who use recreational drugs never have a problem with them, hence the reason you never hear about them.

Crazy how people base their view on the worst case scenarios, imagine you did this with other things in your life, like starting a business.  if you just formed your view of business on the countless business failures nobody would ever go into business again.

US hospitals are ass backwards when it comes to electronic data.  Fear is data can be breached.  A hospitals worst nightmare is being hacked.

It can do? Check out this Joe Rogan podcast with Dr. Carl Hart if you are serious about learning about recreational drugs and not just propaganda.  And if you think about it, heroin is just a form of opiate, and opiates are used in a medicinal setting every day across the globe to enhance a patient's life.

And the vast majority of heroin-related deaths, over 70 percent are caused by combining heroin with another sedative, usually alcohol.  It's about learning how to use drugs safely, which is thwarted by criminalisation and spreading lies and propaganda about drugs.  Just look at all the bullshit beliefs out there regarding steroids and bodybuilding drugs.

Heroin enhances your life?

Considering that it can result in one of the biggest surges of dopamine your body is capable of producing, those few minutes after administration is indeed more euphoric than anything you've ever felt. The key is not pushing it too far to where you make yourself sick.
