Never realized Buchanan was that young there.

He won the junior britain in 81 while still 18,this is a pic from that show, then the other pic was from a guest spot just before the 82 britain final when he placed 2nd in the mister class.I`ve never seen anyone gain so much in the space of one year.

Have there been anyone better? Musclemass, quality, proportions, maturity, definition? No lagging parts.

I'm fucking impressed. Great posing to! Dude must be a genius!

Bonus point for using the theme from The Munsters as posing music.

Also where is Shane Dimora?  Didn't he win the middleweight nationals at 19?

dont forget that priest had the aid of GH from the age of 12.

that makes it difficult to compare to the other teens.

word on the street (i knew of a few guys who knew him well at that age) is that he had the gear going very early- as early as late 15 year old.

a nice mix of gear and GH (for his hereditary height issue) at those ages wouldnt hurt muscle mass.

Lee might be an insecure opinionated over tattooed midget, but he was also a genetic freak of a teenager and one of the best short bodybuilders ever.

I remember hearing stories about Brian from the gym owner where I first started training, he ate 3 whole bbq chickens each day, said he had never seen anyone eat so much food and it was all mainly protein. Guy was huge in the gym pics, absolute freak, I met him years later when  he presented an overall  trophy to me, really nice guy was really overweight at the time then 8 weeks later was in shape, never seen a transformation like it, genetic freak.

Only 2 people have ever made me feel like quitting training, one was Brian, the other was Vince Brown, both juniors the same time as me and when i saw Vince sat in front of me at the 82 Mr Nottingham i thought whats the point in training,he`d beat the guys in the mister class the year before while still a junior.Met Brian in 85 when he guest posed at the Mr Mansfield and was a really nice guy,he bought Amoury Francis with him and when Amoury found out there was prize money in the show he entered and won.
