What I'm saying about work, is that it can and will be cheapened to a point that it becomes little more than slavery.  All work except that of an idle billionaire.  One thing WITHOUT QUESTION that allows for it to occur, is uncontrolled growth in population.

With open borders, we get dragged right into the mess.  The UK gets dragged right into the mess.  All good countries -- THE ONLY hope for the future of this planet -- get dragged into the mess.

Easy way for you to make sense of it, is this: uncontrolled population in large % part of planet = CLOSED borders, here.  Otherwise us = lose.

And yes, of course, it is partly (a large part) about money and standard of living.  People only have their one life to live, and I'd like someone to explain to me why an American needs to take the impact of the third-world's mistakes.

Let us makes ourselves as strong as possible, let the lesser countries follow our lead or be eventually overturned by their own people.

This is simply my opinion, but the reason .gov allows it, is to flood the country with people that have no allegiance to said country. There votes can be bought with "free stuff", and soon the country has lost it's identity. Make it much easier to usher in a world government.

Kazan and HH6, I completely agree that something much worse is intended by at least a few of the people making these decisions.  All the more reason to give ZERO ground on the immigration issue.  We've got decades of mess to try to catch up on as it is.

My question is whether this is a left / right issue... Seems to me that plenty of people on the right want to take your freedom and security (See these recent statements about your privacy on your phone and Apple et al) and plenty of people on the left who want to do the same thing.

I'm saying that this is a concerted collusive effort by more than just one side to attempt to override the belief in the United States.

Left, right they are equally worthless, you are correct the country does not get this fucked up by one party. They would be voted out of power and not be able to further their agenda. There is very little that separates the 2 parties these days, sociopaths who think they know better how to live your life than you do.

Of course RNC and DNC have monopolized the election process. You don't see any 3rd parties getting any debate coverage, or air time on the networks. You get presented with 2 options, pick one or don't vote, either way they win and America looses. I refuse to believe this is best a country of 320 million people has to offer as our leader.

The media is right up to their ears in it.  So few people controlling all of it, and they meet behind closed doors.  That is nothing less than dangerous.
