yesterday and today, Trump and RUbio have IDENTICAL messages on the trail: Ted Cruz is a liar.
They haven't attacked each other at all since SC.   Trump even BACKTRACKED on his tweet that Rubio might be not legal to run.

those msnbc morning joe hosts made the accusation, and they're SO cozy with trump, it's sickening.

The deal makes perfect sense.  Trump is 70 and may "only need" one term to do the job.  Rubio is young at 44 and can wait 1-2 terms to step in as the prohibitive favorite.  Rubio brings swing state florida, he's going to soften the blow with hispanic voters, and he's very solid on policy issues, where trump is technically weak.   "you complete me" makes perfect sense here.

Above all - Trump IS NOT attacking Rubio, which ONLY makes sense (since rubio is rising fast) if they have a deal in place already.  And trump loves to make deals...
