To this day, we probably wouldn't even know who Sarah Palin is if John McCain for once would have shown some backbone and rejected her as the nominee.  No fucking way did he pick her, she was
shoved down his chain smoking throat and like in almost every other instance of his professional political life he lacked the fortitude to do the right thing.  Ultimately, she will be his legacy.  Not his legacy as
a POW/war hero turned multiple term Senator and one time GOP nominee for President.  Sad, really sad.
