im taking cephs advice, this dieting on low cals is pathetic and i feel like a female. im looking worse daily.
gonna eat 2500 cals or so, but will be doing 20 min of HIIT EOD, and heavy 5-6 rep training leaving "one in the tank" on most sets so i can work on getting stronger.
this hiit cardio is making me hungry as fuck though. im primarily sticking to a vegan diet, like Doyle as I want his look (if thats even possible). my main hurdle is sugar, i just cant stay away
try my hybrid doggcrapp/serge nubret/jason blaha one in the tank routine:
3 days a week:
split upper into push and pull. on the 3 days you'll do an am session and pm session. am is pump and pm is strength. upper body will get hit 3 times a week but because you switching between them getting light and heavy, you're joints and cns won't get fried.
day 1/monday
am:
5 x 10-15 close grip barbel row superset with 5 x 10-15 rear delt laterals
5 x 15-20 bicep curls
pm:
1 x 5-7 bench press
3 x 3-5 bench press
3 x 5-7 bench press
3 x 5-7 close grip bench press with a finishing pump set with exercise of choice
3 x heavyish side laterals
day 3/wed
am:
5 x 10-15 bench press superset with 5 x 10-15 side laterals
5 x 10-15 rep tricep exercise
day5 /fri
repeat day 1
Days 2 and 4 (tues and thur) I do some hit cardio with a bit of light legs so as not to fry the cns. I focus more on conditioning stuff like jumping squats and stuff. Once you've spent a few years building legs you can maintain a bit of mass easily.
Days 6 and 7 (sat and sun) I take off.
I've been trying this out for a month and my bench went up by 10kg. I stagnated on 2 plates a side x 5 reps for years.
