WOW! I just reread this topic from page #1 and would like to thank Fortress for the information he and others have provided.
I've been involved within he bodybuilding , powerlifting, and olympic lifting games since the days when most of you were not even born and many times I think of myself as an obnoxious know-it-all regarding the lifting of heavy things only to discover that I have a hell of a lot more to learn but not enough time to do so.
I've never paid too much attention to the supplement business and the principal characters involved within it, so thanks for this info once again.
I had the honor of meeting Bob when he came to Hawaii as a guest of Marijo and Hanu and I'm too damn old now to even recall the year that that meeting occurred but it was on a cattamerran off the coast of one of the neighbor islands.
Our conversation was brief but it was a real pleasure meeting him.
A year or two later we had a long distant telephone conversation in an attempt to set up a photo shoot with Tony Breznik, but IronMan was shooting Tony in California that week but if my memory is still in tact, Bob set up a photo session for Tony while was training at Gold's Venice.
Just wanted to thank Fortress and back up all the great comments regarding Bob Kennedy.
PS.... Can anyone even recite just one of the Weider Principles that Cory was unaware of?
I sure as hell can't.
