I remember when Dan Solomon said on PBW that Phil Heath received the biggest paycheck in bodybuilding history for a contract (some were sayin its 1 mil a year),and even Phil Heath said that he basicly earned that much per year... and now :

How much did you profit from Gifted Nutrition?

I never profited from GN. I never received a paycheck, nor was I reimbursed for my expenses. I paid for my own flights, hotels, food, and other expenses on numerous GN trips, which was contrary to my agreement with GN. To be clear, I did not finance the company, but I did pay for the company payroll twice after finding out that GN was unable to do so. In reality, I am a creditor of Gifted Nutrition.

begging for new company to sign him :

What are your future business plans in the industry?

My future consists of speaking with various companies within the industry, having important and fully transparent conversations, and signing with a new company. I have no legal restrictions whatsoever on doing business with anyone else in the industry or endorsing similar products. I will continue to travel to various events, participate in the same fashion as I have in the past with my Gifted Athletics clothing line, do training demos and seminars, and of course, prioritize my participation in the Olympia to bring home as many titles as possible!

what's he gonna say?   I left because I wanted that check for a mil instead of $40k a month coming to my mailbox guaranteed?

from what you wrote, his tale is one of "i paid the employees out of my own pocket, I'm a hero"

It's like when he yelled "The champ is here" when entering a club.   Real champs don't have to do that.

I do think the "I never profited and paid people out of my own pocket" was to be the hero to show he's not as much of an asshole as people think. He can be the victim who was duped.

Not sure I'm buying he's a victim though.

He also did that champ is here stuff last year and had the Rocky theme playing.

Please tell me this is just a facetious story made to further "the gift's" cocky attitude and not actually true.....

He had someone else put up the money, he was the face.  Phil has nothing invested financially.

Then why he was shelling money out of pocket.  This doesn't make any sense.

After a recent Olympia win.  He yelled it while entering a club.  Earned him criticism on a big level

hmmm he lied?

I think he wants to come across as a hero but he just looks like he doesn't know what he's doing.

I can verify he had the Rocky theme playing as he entered a club. I don't know if he yelled the champ is here though.

Why would he pay the payroll twice becoming a creditor knowing the company was insolvent. More creditors that have rights superior to his now. Bad business move. Think we all know it seems they went overboard on advertising and product sales were not as expected. Muscletech and the EAS era is gone.

If 5-time Mr Olympia and college graduate Phil Heath can't be successful launching his own supplement company, what hope is there for zero-Olympia and high school dropout Kai Greene?

Phil should tell people he won the Olympia after a shitty pre-judging, hitting his head and showing ALL OF THE SIGNS OF A CONCUSSION.

THAT is how you come across like a hero.
