It seems like a good number of the Pros are going to Dubai.
And if any of those pros read these GetBig 'articles', they just might end up someplace in India.
Someplace like New Delhi perhaps.
So in an effort to avoid that from happening it might be a good idea to set the record straight and offer some proper info on that amazing city in the desert.
First of all ...Dubai is actually 1,367.63 miles from New Delhi if you fly and 3,728 if you decide to drive,
So it is advisable to not go to India if you are a GetBig fan.
And if you do, don't drive those 3,728 miles without a camel in the trunk.
Most airlines advertise a round trip rate of about $2,000 depending on yuur US departure location .......BUT ....... It is possible to fly round trip from NYC to Dubai for the unheard of price of about $550 if you take advantage of ASAPtickets special discount tickets which are currently on sale at 800-737-2403 if their website is still valid.
I believe the months of Oct and Nov are among the cheapest.
Once you get there, expect top notch hotel accommodations in the range of $2,000 to $4,000 for a week's stay.
But there many cheaper places to stay if you are on a budget.
If you are not on a budget .... I'd recommend the Jumeirah Emirates Towers which is supposed to be one of the finest hotels in the world.
Some say it ranks as #1.
I think Tom Cruise had a job cleaning the windows there a few years back.
If there is any interest in this 'stuff' and if anyone is planning to visit Dubai, I'll provide more information such as fine dining (some of the world's best chefs are there now), liquor advice, night clubs, tourist attractions, and outdoor activities, and the things that Kai enjoyed the most.
