Anyone use weed as a painkiller?
« on: July 31, 2016, 04:27:24 PM »
Only smoked a few times in the distant past, but yesterday ate some thc tablet things at my friend's house.

Wow!  I couldn't believe how much chronic pain disappeared... sensations I had become so used to I didn't even 'recognize' as pain.  Biking home was a surreal experience.  Every nagging ache and pain would just get nipped at the root, and every climb seemed almost effortless, like my legs didn't even belong to me.

Obviously all painkillers are extremely dangerous, but I'm just curious whether anyone else uses weed to cope with exercise, and what your thoughts may be.

The ultimate highly effective, non toxic pain killer that can be used safely for extended periods of time without side effects/withdrawal.

Some of the strains that I've tried have been very 'narcotic' and long lasting.

Amazing stuff.

My aunt used it when she had cancer. She said it helped her with the pain.

Weed, bro? Careful, gateway drug.

Try heroin. Poppies are natural.

On November libs will more than likely pass weed for Rec use making California as useless as Colorado. Is it better than opioids? Yes but it's just making the lazy even more lazy.

Still don't understand how people are continually in pain or hurt from bodybuilding and cardio exercise.  Strange.

I have been working out consistently for 18 years.  Never took more than a week off at a time.  Lifted extremely heavy for years, have done nearly every routine-German Volume, high sets, reps, whatever, have done cardio, lots of it, moderate, high intensity, no cardio etc...

Never once injured or in pain ever.  Perhaps its genetics?  Maybe people just have bad genetics in that regard.

I guess. Some people just seem like their nervous system and their ligaments and tendons are grossly at odds. They just keep getting stronger and their body never reciprocates by getting sturdier.

I love cardio, but I am constantly fighting my body to adapt.

Could be it.  I have not gotten any stronger in years and years, nor have I been able to put on any additional muscle other than maybe a 1 or 3 lbs in years.  Maybe that is a good thing.  :-\

I know nothing about these type of drugs really, but why is it that every person I know who smokes it is pretty lazy? Genuinely curious as that is the case with the majority of people who do it it seems. I know a lot of people that have gone to Colorado and talk about how terrible it is there due to how many people smoke, etc.

Emphasis on this not being an attacking post.

Most people should have been aborted.

I do and have and it really makes no difference at this point.  I have maxxed myself out I believe.  Did that well over 10 years ago even.

Why dont you just inject 500 mgs of test e in your body its just one shot each week you will start getting stronger and growing again feeling like superman and you will be a beast in the bed.

I agree mate, no point busting your balls in the gym, just go in and lift, eat some food and genetics dictates how you turn out.
I dont train anywhere near as hard as some of the people in my gym yet I look better than 95% of them.

Because I really don't want to look any different.  Happy with where I am at.
