There are better choices than pasta, whole wheat or otherwise. The bottom line is variety. The right fruits and vegetables are excellent sources of fiber. Unless you are starving, you don't need to stuff your mouth and stomach. Feeling full is a state of mind more than anything else. Anyone who takes time with their meals knows that it doesn't take much to feel full. Never follow a diet that requires deprivation. You might loose weight, but it is usually only temporary and the rebound effect could put you in a worse situation.
But fruits and veggies won't fill you up. The thread is about feeling satisfied. Pasta will do that over veggies and fruits.
Okay, so the goal is not to be healthieer it is to feel full. I get it. Personally, I hate feeling full.
Whole wheat pasta has fiber and will fill you up.
These tin foods are loaded with sodium leave you looking like a bloated pig so you didnt solve the pig problem.
In other words, grow a pair.
