Sounds like Taliban/Isis.

How can it take years to study the bible. It's a terribly written book, no plot, lotsa inconsistencies, very racist and violent. It's just the fairytalea/mythology of some old middle age goat hurding tribe.
If that one Roman empiror, forgot his name, had not decided to go along with this crapp, nobody knew the name "Jesus Christ" today.

I don't know about that, it gave the west the idea of inalienable human rights and taught 'primitive man' that he is able to understand the universe as God "arranged all things by measure and number and weight" and not "magic".
